Packard Bell, after a long life and few logo updates, has finally done a complete 360 with its identity. The new logo and wordmark, both strong upgrades, give Packard Bell the identity it needs to move forward in the working world.

The Detriot Lions, on there path to improvement (I mean, seriously, how can you NOT improve from 0-16?), have revised their logo, adding more detail and making the lion more appealing to the masses. The new wordmark also has a “Lion-like” feel to it, and is a great improvement over the past design.

With a new design, Dollar General moves into the future….. but not really. The new design is still average at best, but is not an improvement in the least. The new design changes to a font similar to the original, but different. Thats the only positive to the new design, the new typeface used for it.

In being as unbiased as possible, I am a HUGE Titans fan. So getting to see these new Houston Oilers throwbacks has been an anticipation in itself. Thanks to the Kyle Vanden Bosch and the Titans Caravan (a touring type event in which players travel to small cities across Tennessee and surrounding states), we have our first up-close look at them:
Wow. What a thing of beauty. And that “Luv Ya Blue”??? Simply astounding.

Well, at least the Latin American edition of Discovery Kids. The new logo is a lot more simple than the original, but keeps some of the elements of the original, such as the appearance of the world and the rings.
One flaw, in my opinion, is the use of the exclamation mark as the “i” in kids. But what do I know…. 🙂

WGN has finally gotten rid of what many deemed a “mistake” to begin with. The new WGN logo has a very TV Land feel to it, but the font used for “America” is very appealing and seems to fit the logo well.

Over the last 50 years, professional American football has been through many different changes. With the 50th anniversary being this coming season, the NFL has released the new AFL anniversary logo.
Also, the original AFL teams, which includes the Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs (donning Dallas Texans uniforms), Raiders, Titans (donning Houston Oilers gear), Bills, Jets (donning Titans throwbacks), and Patriots. Those jerseys are shown below:

The ever so popular science fiction channel SciFi has decided that, in times of change, the best decision to bring in more viewers and expand its “imagination” is to change the identity.
According to the new website, the brand change is reflective of the company’s “broader range of imagination based entertainment.”
Look for the revamped design on a television set near you.
